Sponsor Checklist

Thanks-cclgl

Thank you for being a partner and sponsor of the City, County, and Local Government Law (CCLGL) Section of the Florida Bar this year! Your contribution will enable the Section to provide enhanced CLEs, networking opportunities, and resources to its members—and provide you and your firm or agency valuable exposure and marketing to over 1,700 CCLGL members.

This checklist is designed to assist you in receiving all the benefits offered for your sponsorship level.  Please review the appropriate section below for your sponsorship level, and send the requested information or any questions to contact@cclgl.org

  • MAKE YOUR CONTRIBUTION. If you haven’t already, click on the button below labeled “Become a Sponsor (Make a Payment)” to be directed to The Florida Bar’s online payment system. There you can register, select your sponsorship level, and pay. If you have questions or need assistance, email contact@cclgl.org.
  • SUBMIT A LOGO & URL. Email your firm or company logo (or, if you do not have a logo, your firm or company name) and website address/URL to: contact@cclgl.org.
  • SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT QUESTIONNAIRE. Email contact@cclgl.org with answers to the questions/prompts on the Sponsor Spotlight Questionnaire (below) for your firm, company or agency OR  for one team member. Team member spotlights are limited to attorneys who are current CCLGL members.
  • Complete all steps under the “Friends of the Section” heading.
  • SUBMIT AN ARTICLE for THE AGENDA Newsletter. Email contact@cclgl.org with the proposed title/topic for your article, and you will be put in touch with the current The Agenda Committee Chair to coordinate publication.
  • Complete all steps under “Silver Sponsor” and “Friends of the Section” headings.
  • HOST A VIRTUAL CLE. Email contact@cclgl.org with the proposed title/topic for your one-hour Continuing Legal Education program (CLE), and you will be put in touch with the current CLE Committee Chair and Florida Bar Administrator to coordinate the date, time, and logistics for hosting the CLE. Please note that attempts will be made to space CLEs out over the course of the sponsorship year, and some dates may be limited based on resource availability. In addition to presenters, please nominate someone from your firm or agency to moderate the CLE (which includes introducing the speakers, making necessary announcements, handling Q&A, etc.).
  • ANNUAL CONFERENCE WEEK EVENTS (2022).  Please email your responses to the questions/prompts below  to contact@cclgl.org.
    • RESERVED TABLE. How many attendees from your firm/company will attend the CCLGL Annual Meeting & Luncheon on Friday, May 6?
    • SPONSOR A BREAKOUT EVENT. Please select the top three breakout events you would like to sponsor, by ranking them from 1 to 3, with 1 being your first choice. See below for options.  Platinum Sponsors will have the first choice of breakout events, and will be the exclusive sponsor of that event. Other events will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and some events may have multiple sponsors.
  • Complete all steps under “Gold Sponsor,” “Silver Sponsor,” and “Friends of the Section” headings.
  • ADDITIONAL ANNUAL CONFERENCE WEEK EVENTS (2022).
    • INTRODUCTION at the CCLGL Conference. You will have the opportunity for a member of your firm or agency to provide a brief (3-minute) introduction highlighting your firm during the Annual Conference. If you wish to have a member of the Section’s Executive Council provide the introduction on your behalf, please email the introduction text (which may be edited for time if necessary) to contact@cclgl.org. The CLE Chair will coordinate with you on the date and time of the introduction.
    • FREE CONFERENCE REGISTRATIONS (4). Provide the names and Florida Bar numbers of the attendees (up to 4) from your firm who you wish to receive complimentary CCLGL Conference registrations. This must be provided at least a month in advance of the Conference. Note: Conference registrations include the Friday and Saturday 45th Annual Local Government Law in Florida Conference; the Thursday Land Use Seminar and Sunday “Lessons from COVID” (title TBD) sessions are separate seminars requiring separate registration.
    • CABANA DECORATION. Start planning your eye-catching cabana, which you can decorate for the Saturday BBQ & networking event immediately following the CCLGL Annual Conference. You must provide the materials and labor, and set up and take down the decorations.
    • RECEPTION TABLE OR SIGNATURE DRINK. Select one of the following:
      • OPTION 1: A table set up during the reception on Friday night. Select your preferred table location, which will be accommodated if possible:
        • Inside Reception room
        • At Reception entrance
      • OPTION 2: A “signature drink” for the evening (subject to venue availability). Provide:
